The blocker does not apply during a Short Break or Long Break, or when the timer is stopped.
This feature is available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It is not available on Apple Watch or Apple Vision Pro. It requires Flow Pro.
iPhone and iPad
Section titled “iPhone and iPad”In Settings, turn on App Blocker. List opens the allow list.
Only apps and sites on that list can be used during a Flow. Everything else is blocked.
Apple limits the list to 50 apps and 50 sites. If a category in Apple’s picker is very large, use search.
On Mac, Settings includes App & Web Blocker.
Apps on the Block list cannot be used during a Flow.
Websites
Section titled “Websites”Websites on the list are blocked during a Flow.
You can switch the list to Allow, so only listed sites can be opened.
You can enter a keyword such as facebook to match any URL that contains that word. You do not need www or http.
To match one exact URL without similar subdomains, prefix it with *. For example, *https://www.facebook.com blocks that URL but not https://business.facebook.com.
